This will help you set up your account through Microsoft Outlook
or Microsoft Outlook Express. If you have different software, please
contact us on 01747 858 000 and we will try to talk you through
the process.
Before setting up you should have the following information about
the e-mail account:

Go to Tools menu and select Accounts... (near
the bottom)
|

Click the Add button and select Mail from the
popup menu.

4) Email Address |
|

Type in the name you want to appear on your messages.
Click Next.
|
|
Select 'I already have an e-mail address' and enter your assigned
e-mail address.
Click Next.

| 5) Incoming mail server type |
|
6) Incoming mail server |
|
|
|
|
Select 'Incoming mail' as POP3
|
|
For 'Incoming mail server' enter "mail.cravenplan.co.uk"
|
|
|
|
|
| 7) Outgoing mail server |
|
8) Account Name & Password |
|
|
|
Your 'Outgoing mail server' is what you ISP's mail server
has assigned you with.
(If you are unsure of your ISP settings, please call us on
01747 858000 and we will try to help you).
Click Next.
|

Enter your assigned account name and password used when applying
for this e-mail account.
Tick 'Remember password'.
Do NOT tick 'Log on using secure password authentication'.
Click Next.

That's it you are done.
Click Finish.

To begin receiving new mail click the Send/Receive
button on Outlook's toolbar
|
- Open Outlook Express and go to the Tools menu and
select Accounts...
- Click Mail and select from the list your Swallowcliffe
e-mail account (it might be called "mail.cravenplan.co.uk").
- Click the Properties button.
|
- In the "Reply address:" box enter your Swallowcliffe
e-mail address (e.g. "johnsmith@swallowcliffe.com").
- Click OK.

| Your alternate reply address has now been successfully
set up. |
After following these instructions you should be set up to collect
your e-mail from your new account, congratulations..
