Mobile library

The mobile library comes to Swallowcliffe on alternative Thursdays, and is situated outside the Royal Oak.

The friendly and experienced mobile crews deliver books, story tapes & videos for adults and children to rural communities throughout Wiltshire. All vehicles have access for wheelchairs. Borrowers use the same membership ticket for static and mobile libraries.

People using this service can reserve anything not available on the van via the county request service, including ordering from the on-line catalogue for pick up on the Mobile.
