George and Sally Boothby

George and Sally moved to Swallowcliffe at the end of 1996. They moved from a small village in Somerset called Batcombe.

They have three children, Jane (b.1979), Fenella (b.1981) and Imogen (b.1982) and a big black cat called Rufus.

George works as a Health and Safety Executive for off-shore oil rigs and commutes every weekday into London on the train. Sally works as the reception teacher at st. Johns Primary School in Tisbury.

When they are not working they enjoy spending time in the garden, planting flowers and growing vegetables. They grow many things including, radishes, lettuce, onions, potatoes, rhurbarb, apples, pears and blackberries. In the summer they often take their small boat down to the coast and visit small bays that are otherwise only accessible by foot.
