Why live in Swallowcliffe?
Swallowcliffe is in the heart of Wiltshire, which is the second safest county in England.
Swallowcliffe is situated 12 miles from Salisbury and 8 miles from Shaftesbury. With less than 200 residents there is a strong sense of community. There are many things going on in the village including a monthly debating society and a weekly art group.

Swallowcliffe is set in beautiful surroundings, with many stunning cultural attractions quite close, Stonehenge and Fovant Badges are both near by, as well as those there is Wardor castle. Which is only a two-hour walk from the village.

DESCRIPTION
High Croft is an attractive detached house set in an elevated position and surrounded by lovely gardens with far reaching views to the Great Ridge in the distance. The house was built in the mid 1960’s and in more recent times it has been cleverly extended, and very well maintained and presented by the present owners. The Accommodation features a large L shaped "double aspect" drawing room with double doors opening into the recently built garden room. Upstairs there are three generous double bedrooms including a Master bedroom with dressing area and en-suite shower room, and a further family bathroom.

SITUATION
The house is well located on the western fringes of the sought after village of Swallowcliffe, a pretty hamlet nestling in the Nadder Valley, and surrounded by some of the most attractive countryside in this part of the West Country. Services including post office, convenience store, doctors and dentists are available nearby in either Fovant or Tisbury and a reasonably regular bus service passes through the village to Tisbury and Salisbury. This part of South Wiltshire has rightly become renowned for its pleasant countryside, lovely views and extensive walking and riding. There are many other good leisure opportunities in the area and Tisbury has a mainline station with fast regular trains to London (Waterloo) from 105 minutes.
