- Recent Spate Theft From Motor Vehicle [TFMV] and Burglary -
Dear All, you are probably fully aware by now. However, if not Mere unfortunately received quite a substantial spate of TFMV Offences and Burglary Offences between 26/09 – 28/09!
Due to the number of offences, CID have taken the job on to try and locate our Suspect[s].
- Seasonal Thefts -
It would appear we have reached that time of the year, when the seasonal thefts move once again around to Power Tools, Electrical Items, Diesel and Jewellery. Are on top of the Countries Thieving list!
We are all aware; that these people will go to great lengths to get what they want! Please can you do everything to aide prevention.
> Do not leave anything on show within your vehicle [handbags, Sat Navs or even Sat Nav Holders].
> Secure windows, lock doors.
> ensure alarms are working, Security lights activate.
> your neighbours are aware you will be away, so they can keep a close eye out or even make it appear if someone is home by opening and closing curtains, turning on lights etc.
