The Boothby Girls

Jane, Fenella and Imogen moved to Swallowcliffe with their parents at the end of 1996. They had previously lived in a small village in Somerset called Batcombe.

Since living here they have all finished their G.C.S.E's, A-levels and university degrees (with exception of Imogen who is now in her final year).

Jane (b.1979) studied knitwear design at Winchester School of Art where she graduated with a 2:1 hons degree in 2001. She currently lives and works in Nottingham as a knitwear designer for a company called Nixi.

Jane's hobbies include reading- both classic and contemporary literature, she is also learning to play the acoustic guitar and learning to drive. At the weekends she likes to hang out with her friends and go to the art house cinema and in the week she goes to the gym.

Fenella (b.1981) studied photography at Nottingham Trent University where she graduated with a 2:1 hons degree in 2003. She is currently working for Cravenplan Computers in the village. Her long term plans are to go travelling around the world for a year or to move to London and start a career as a picture editor.

Fenella's hobbies include contemporary literature, photography and traveling -in which she has been to New York, Prague (twice), Bratislava, Amsterdam (twice), Australia (4 months) and inter-railing around Europe. This summer she went to Sicily for 3 weeks for a end of university party with her friends. In her spare time she likes spending time with her mates and writing to the ones that live far away. She is also responsible for drinking all the cider in the pub.

Imogen (b.1982) is currently in her third and last year at Keele University where she is studying politics and psychology. She is interested in going on to do a masters or a PhD.

Imogen is heavily into music and often helps to organise with her friends special music nights at her campus union. She also enjoys making clothes and cooking. In her spare time she enjoys reading and hanging out with her friends.
