Mere   - Criminal Damage
Sadly, I have to report that over the period of Sunday 27th Monday 28th Three vehicles where damaged! In what I would class a criminal damage spate! Nothing was taken from any vehicle pure damage to the windows.
This type of behaviour is not acceptable to any extent of the imagination! We are currently carrying out our enquiries as well as reviewing CCTV to discover the Suspect[s]
If you can assist in anyway, please get in contact. Do not worry, you can be kept anonymous.
-Toilet Break, Finds 20,000 Dumper Truck
More positively, I would like to Thank the member of the public (Name escapes me) who reported a suspicious circumstance he stumbled across whilst on for a ride.
Whilst out and about he needed to go to toilet, so jumped off his bike to go in a woodland area between Mere and Zeals. Only to discover a 3 tonne dumper truck hidden away within the woods. He reported this to Pcso Michael TRYHORN. The vehicle was recovered for examination as only stolen earlier that day.
The vehicle was clearly parked with the intent to transport later on maybe even that evening.
